Hebrides Training Ride.JPG

UPDATE:

We would like to say a MASSIVE congratulations to Phil and Mark who have completed their ride from Gourock to Garve through the Inner and Outer Hebrides for Taylan's Project and Marie Curie.

It is a fantastic achievement - battling snow, hailstorms and chaffing - but equally amazing seeing all manner of wildlife from dolphins, seals and even a wee shark!

They have both said how nice it was to get home as the final two days had some challenging hills!

On their Journey they travelled 464 miles visiting 10 islands and managed to catch all of their ferries!

If you would like to donate to such a fantastic achievement you can go to their fundrasing page.

On the 28th April 2016, Phil and Mark are travelling by bike and boat from Gourock to Garve, via the Inner and Outer Hebrides, in one week, covering 464 miles. 10 islands. 8 ferries. 7 days. 2 wheels and with 1 aim…..minimal chafing! Phil’s words not mine!

Funds raised will be split between Brain Tumour Research and Marie Curie UK in memory of Taylan and Phil's mother Joyce, who also sadly lost her battle to a brain tumour late 2014.

The lads are training hard and not entirely sure what the Scottish weather is going to throw at them but they are determined to complete it!

Please visit their fundraising page and support this unique challenge. x
