In memory of Jasmine

Thank you so much to Karen, Manu, Maddie and their family and friends for continuing to support our work – all in memory of their beautiful daughter and sister Jasmine, who sadly passed away in 2009 to a brain tumour.

Karen and I met during Taylan’s diagnosis and remained friends – supporting our children in any way we could.  We laughed, we cried, we cared and we fought together in a desperate need to help save our children.  We now continue to support each other.

Jasmine’s father Manu has taken on some incredible challenges to help raise money, including a 50.8 Ultra mile challenge, running over the hills of the North Downs Way in 10 hours 51 minutes.  The family have raised staggering amounts in various ways for both research and also for our fund to help families and children in desperate need of financial support and holidays.

Jasmine’s Fun Day this year was no exception and we are delighted to say that we received yet another wonderful donation from them totalling £3450.  As well as donations made by their very generous community, this included individual donations by organisations and groups, whom all pulled together to not only make Jasmine’s Day a very special one, but also one that will help towards finding a cure for brain tumours.
